I have sailed since a child and have competed in numerous dinghy national championships before stepping up into larger boats. Competed in the BT Global Challenge in 96/97 including the BT Fastnet prior to the race. Sailed in numerous RORC races including the Rolex Fastnet in 2007. Now a qualified commercial yachtmaster with experience of delivering yacts and charter work.
Crewed aboard 557 with my brother in the Mini Fastnet, didn't go too well with the squall that hit the fleet and us loosing all electronics. But on the bright side I navigated us back to Douarnenez with no trouble and look forward to the next race.
