Mini Empuries

With the success of the first edition, the Mini Empúries returns with new features. First, it is becoming really international with the registration to the official Mini calendar, and at last but not least, the second edition of this race will be cataloged as the Catalonian Cup, which makes this race as one of the most important race in our country but also in Europe.

It will be more demanding to the skippers this yearas it will be single handed.

Created after the Mini Base of the Club Náutic l’Escala in 2007 whose goal is to help the skippers in their participation in the Mini-Transat creating a training center, this race aims at establishing relations between different Mediterranean harbours.

The arrival was in Barcelona last year but this time, boats will return to L'Escala. But before, competitors will have to complete 200 NM passing through the Bay of Roses, L'Escala, the Vreus Cape, Llançà, the Begur Cape and Blanes. They will definitively enjoy the incomparable landscapes of this completely coastal route, benefiting at the same time of all the safety guarantees.

A good excuse to be testimony of one of the events of the season and to visit L'Escala and the Alt Empordà, territories of tramontana, but also of landscapes that have inspired a lot of painters and writers, good meals and excellent wines.
